Missing Descriptions

Why is my descriptions missing for all my assets? For example All of my workstations have a description in AD but I do not see any of them in any report.

A good example is computers not seen in 90 days.
None of the descriptions are populated

But if I go to a computer summary page. there is a field
AD description: Doe,John

It has the correct description so not sure how I get that in a report.
