Upgrading to new Server (Iaas / Paas)

Wanted to see if it mattered what our SQL server is Iaas vs Paas and if it mattered for LanSweeper. We are upgrading the SQL server to Azure and just wanted to verify Iaas vs Paas or if there's a recommended.

As long as is one of those versions and the SQL server can be reached from the scan and web server(s), it should be ok if is Iaas or Paas.
