Hi, Can any recommend me the best way to get asset information for the printers connected via USB? I want to get the printer information to set alert for the toner/drum.

Hello,
Printer that are connected to a Windows computer will be found as a connected USB devices, but will not be fully scanned through the Windows computer.
If you want to scan a printer to list the toner or drum information, you will have to scan the printer directly by its IP address. The preferred protocol for that is SNMP. The printer also has to meet the scanning requirements:
