Engaged Sweeper II

Warranty scanning appears to be working in our lansweeper app. When I look at the 'Asset Warranty Status' report, I see information there. However, when I look at a specific asset, under 'Warranty End Date', there is nothing.

How can I have the warranty end date show up? The data is in the system according to the report.

Hello there!

Lansweeper performs an automated warranty check and warranty scanning for assets whose manufacturer is Dell, Fujitsu, Lenovo or Toshiba/Dynabook. So one of the first things to check would be if the manufacturer of the asset is supported. For more tips, we would like to refer you to this KB article: https://community.lansweeper.com/t5/scanning-your-network/automated-warranty-check-for-dell-fujitsu-...

Thanks - the devices in question are Dell machines and it seems the warranty scanning is working, but the displayed info is not. When I look at the 'Asset Warranty Status' report, I see warranty information. However, when I look at the details of one of those devices, the 'Warranty End Date' is blank. I've attached screenshots of what I'm talking about.

Hello there!

We would recommend creating a support case for troubleshooting purposes: https://www.lansweeper.com/contact/contact-support/

Thanks! I contacted them and looks like this is a known bug, so I guess I'll wait for the fix

"This is a known issue, and it has been escalated to our development team as a bug. A fix for it will be in a future release. Unfortunately, there is no estimated release date. We recommend checking our changelog when a new version is released to ensure this fix is included (LAN-16081)"
