All my Cisco phones are recognised as webservers.
I would like to see these as their own specific device type.
How can I accomplish this?

I can change the type in the device details, but I was wondering how I can trick Lansweeper into identifying these correctly in the first place?

regards,
Dirk

I'll add cdp to the wish list.

I checked the firewall configuration and everything is open for Lansweeper.
What is strange is that Nedi can detect the IP Phones correctly, without using snmp.
According to my network engineer, Nedi is using CDP (Cisco Discovery protocol) to inventory those devices. Is there an option to add CDP to the list of scanned protocols?

I see, when I try to connect with the snmp string, it always gives a warning: "please check your username/password".

Perhaps it's being blocked by our firewall?

Can you post the output of the device tester to these devices please.
Can you enable snmp on them?
