I installed a linked installation however the computer then died. I have tried to unlink from the cloud version however it just hangs on 'Unlink in progress' and the sync server is showing as being down. Is there a way to force the unlink?
No real movement, no. But Lansweeper Support has acknowledged to me that this is still an open issue. Still awaiting their resolution. Ensure you have an official ticket open with them so that they know how many people are enduring this problem.
This is a known issue, I've had a ticket open about it for more than a month. Awaiting feedback after they said the engineering group would need to fix it.
