Detect monitors automatically

I am in a new job and they are using Lansweeper and I am new to this tool. My question is this:
I have a set of monitors within my Assets list,

Are the monitors detected automatically?
If the monitors are changed from one computer to another, are they updated automatically once a scan of the assets has been performed?

Hi, 
Monitors are indeed detected automatically. They are not scanned directly but part of a Windows scan.
When a Windows computer is scanned, the connected monitor is detected, and a relation will be created between the monitor and its Windows Computer.
This will indeed be updated automatically with each new scan.
