Hello,
I am upgrading Update On-premises Lansweeper from 12.2.1.6 to 12.3.2.5.
After launching the Lansweeper 12.3.2.5 installer in elevated mode, and then click "Next" after choosing upgrade option, I got prompted message of following:
Error while trying to get SQL Edition
Reason: Loging failed for user "my_domain_account"
Can I get advise why I get this error? and if this error message to resolve, what else I need and how to resolve it?
The installation was done with default setting (i.e local SQL) with default Lansweeper user. My my_domain_account am member of local administrator on the server where hosting the current Lansweeper 12.2.1.6. I am able to log on to Lansweeper 12.2.1.6 portal with my my_domain_account. I have done the backup.
I've consulted the Update Lansweeper On-premises (https://community.lansweeper.com/t5/lansweeper-maintenance/update-lansweeper-on-premises/ta-p/64338) article and not see any note to look out between step 5 and 6.

Hi Danny,
Its possible the user is different than the one used to install Lansweeper. In order to change the user to connect to LocalDB, please find the instructions here:
If you're not using LocalDB, you will have to grant your user dbadmin permission in your SQL Server instance.
