When migrating a database to a different server, data loss can occur due to incomplete transfers, compatibility issues, or configuration errors. buy cox internet To prevent this, ensure thorough backups before migration and validate data integrity post-transfer. Use reliable migration tools, follow best practices, and test the migration process in a staging environment to safeguard against potential data loss.

Hello,
Looking at the screenshot and your logs, it seems that your website version is 11.2.2.0, while the scanning service is on 11.4.
We think the backup and restore steps mentioned in the article are not correctly followed. Could you please review it?
If any doubt, you can contact Lansweeper Support.

Here’s the situation: my original Lansweeper system was running version 11.2.2. I installed the correct version on a new server running Windows Server 2019, which is currently being used as the WSUS platform. However, after the installation, the system started to fail – despite the installation process being complete and correct.

Dear,
If you are restoring a SQL LocalDB database, make sure the database files are restored under the SQLDATA folder in the Lansweeper folder structure. If that is not the case, your installation will start a new empty database.
If you are sure you did this correctly, I believe it would be useful to open a Support case for this.
The support team will be able to verify the logs and see what went wrong.
