We do have multiple AWS accounts and would like to be able to limit the number of IAM users with static access keys required by Lansweeper. Is there a way to configure Lansweeper to use one AWS account and IAM role to access resources in another AWS accounts?

You are able to use the Main account Creds with Lansweeper Cloud for AWS. However, unlike Lansweeper On-Prem, Lansweeper Cloud splits all the AWS items out to their own "Asset". With On-Prem, everything for AWS is in one asset record and you can drill down into it like you can PCs and Servers. With Lansweeper Cloud, you have multiple assets you have to look at to find info you want. It would be Awesome if they would change on-Prem to be able to use the AWS Main Account creds to discover all AWS asset's without having to have individual keys for each account in AWS. (God I hope that makes sense)

as you need an Access Key and Secret Key for your AWS credential, these will likely be different for your multiple AWS accounts and as such you will need to setup a user for each AWS env,

Hi ErikT,
thx
we would like to avoid setting up a user for each aws account because it will be diffucult to manage and insecure and we would like to use IAM roles instead

Hello alramadanm, have you received any further information on this topic? I'm in the same boat.
