As a Lansweeper Sites administrator, you can control who has view and export permissions for diagrams by managing user roles.

Access to diagrams can be restricted for any user role except Administrator.

To manage permissions for viewing or exporting diagrams:

  1. In your Lansweeper Site, go to Configuration > Account management > Roles & permissions.

  2. Select the role you want to edit.

  3. Navigate to Diagrams.

  4. Select or deselect:

    • View diagrams: allows access to view diagrams within the site

    • Export diagrams: allows exporting diagrams for external use

  5. Select Save role.

Diagram access follows each user’s asset scope:

  • Users can only see the assets that their role allows them to access.

  • To share a full diagram with a user without modifying their asset scope, you can export the diagram and share the exported file instead.
